Immunization Requirements
Public health laws require children attending school to have the following immunizations: Polio, Diphtheria, Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Measles (10 day), Mumps and Rubella.
Students new to the district must present a certificate of immunization. The only exceptions are:
- If the parent provides a statement from a doctor which states that a specific immunization is not recommended because of allergic reaction, health reasons or history of having the disease.
- A statement from a parent or guardian that the child is a bonafide member of a specific religious organization whose teachings are contrary to the administration of such an immunization agent.
