We are excited to announce that the students of Elm Street School are teaming up with the World Famous Harlem Wizards to help us raise funds for the PAWS - Parents at Waverly Schools with their new WizFit Challenge fundraiser and kids experience. During a two-week period starting on 01-07-2025 our students will watch and participate in an exclusive series of six interactive video episodes led by Harlem Wizard stars Swoop and Broadway. They will get fit, learn tricks, have fun, earn prizes, and be coached on character by the Wizards. We will then conclude this event on 01-21-2025 with a Graduation Celebration where every student will participate and win free prizes.

Due to the weather conditions all Waverly Schools will be on a 2 hour delay today, Monday, December 16, 2025.

JE Hallett Fire Company is doing the “Toys for Tots” toy distribution at the fire station on Saturday 14th (this Saturday) from 8:30 – 11:30 am. They will also be doing a free community breakfast open to the general public not just those picking up toys during the same hours. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, etc.
Elm Street's Holiday Spirit Week is December 16-20, 2024.
Hall's Candy pick up will be on Friday December 13th from 3:30- 5:30 pm. Please use the door by the gym.

Please make sure your child is dressing appropriately for the weather with coats, hats, gloves. If there is snow on ground, boots are needed. Students go outside daily for recess if the real feel temperature is above 20 degrees. Thank you for your help and understanding with keeping your child warm while they are outside.
Elm Street Elementary 1st Grade Winter Concert is Thursday, December 5th at 6:00pm in
Elm Street Gymnasium.
PAWS would like to remind you the Hall's candies orders and money are due December 4th, please turn orders in by then.
This is a local fundraiser, the candy is made in Gillett, Pa. Please support PAWS and this local business.
