Welcome to Special Programs
Welcome to Waverly Central School District’s special programs, where every student's unique potential is nurtured with care and expertise.
Special education is a tailored approach to learning that addresses the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Our dedicated team of educators, specialists, and support staff collaborate closely with families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that foster academic growth, social development, and independence.
At Waverly Central School District, we believe in providing a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and succeed, regardless of their challenges or differences. In the Waverly Central School District, the first consideration is the education of students with disabilities in the general education setting.
Special education means specially designed educational services or programs to mee the unique needs of students with disabilities as determined by the Committee on Special Education (CSE). Discover how we empower students to reach their fullest potential through personalized attention and innovative teaching strategies in our dynamic special education program.
