SAT School Day - IMPORTANT INFORMATION Students that are registered to take the SAT exam on 4/8/2025, please see the information as some of it is time sensitive. *Digital Readiness Check Students need to report to room 160 on Friday, 3/7 at 7:55 to complete the Digital Readiness Check. Students will get familiar with the Bluebook™ testing application, confirm their personal information is correct, and verify that devices are ready for test day. During the digital readiness check, students will log in to Bluebook with temporary credentials (like they will on test day), complete exam setup, and try a test preview. These sessions can be completed in 30 minutes or less *SAT School Day Test Day Information Testing will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8th. Students that enter the exam after it has begun, will be unable to test. Testing location is TBD. Students will have 64 minutes to complete the Reading and Writing section and 70 minutes to complete the Math section for a total of 2 hours and 14 minutes of testing time. Each section is divided into two equal length modules, and there is a 10-minute break between the Reading and Writing section and the Math section. Bluebook has a built-in calculator, so students are not required to bring a calculator. If students are going to bring a calculator, it must be approved. There are only a few things you really need to bring on test day. Best sure to bring: A pencil or pen. Scratch paper will be provided—do not bring your own. Optional: An approved calculator. There’s a graphing calculator built into the app, but you can bring your own if you'd like. Extra batteries for your calculator and backup equipment—you'll have to ask for permission to access them. They can’t be on your desk during the test. Optional: A drink or snack to have during a 10 minute break. Epinephrine auto-injectors (for example, EpiPens) are permitted without the need for accommodations. They must be placed in a clear bag and stored under your desk during testing. For policies on other medications and medical devices, contact Mrs. Fish in Guidance. Students are prohibited from bringing the following items on test day (unless they have an approved accommodation): Electronic equipment including phones, smartwatches, fitness trackers, wearable technology, cameras, recording or listening devices, or any other type of electronic or communication device except for their testing device used for the digital test and, if applicable, any assistive technology as part of an approved accommodation. Books, reference guides, notes, compasses, rulers, protractors, dictionaries, highlighters, or colored pencils. Papers of any kind. Watches that beep, make a noise, or have an alarm. Calculators that aren't acceptable. Detachable privacy screens. Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions. Ear plugs. Brimmed caps, which may be worn into the testing room but must be removed and stored under the student's desk during testing. Note: Hoodies have to be down during testing. Ear buds. Students and families can now view the 2025-2026 High School Course Guide at https://5il.co/39brh. It will also be posted to the website. Hard copies will be available in the forthcoming weeks in the Guidance Department. Please refer to the latest course guide for information on courses offered in the 2025-2026 school year, graduation requirements, NCAA information, etc. Course Selection meetings will begin the first week of March and continue the next several weeks. Students will meet with their Guidance Counselor to choose courses for next year and review their transcript/academic record. Schedules will not be handed out at this time as these will be mailed in the Summer. Students should reach out to their Guidance Counselor about a meeting if they have not already signed up for a time.

Katherine P. Kerrigan Scholarship -Community Foundation This scholarship was established by Thomas W. Ward and Leslie Kipp, god-daughter of Katherine, from the estate of Katherine P. Kerrigan. Katherine was a graduate of Barnard College. She traveled all over Europe as a tutor for an American family, the Plankingtons, in the 1920s. She taught at a number of schools and veterans’ associations, both to children and adults, on a whole range of subjects. She returned to Waverly, NY when her father became ill. Donald E. “Coach” Ennis Memorial Scholarship - Community Foundation Following his game plan, this scholarship was created in honor of Donald’s unwavering dedication to education and athletics and will be awarded to a Waverly High School senior who participated in Waverly Wolverine Athletics. Donald, a proud native of Waverly, NY, graduated from Waverly High School before earning his master’s degree in education from Ithaca College. He began his teaching career in 1962 at Gorham, where he taught Physical Education at all levels, from elementary through high school. Among his many accomplishments, he established the football program at the Gorham School, which he continued to develop at Marcus Whitman. After a remarkable 36-year teaching career, Donald retired in 1998. His passion for Physical Education, however, extended beyond retirement, as he became a dedicated Strength Coach, mentoring both students and faculty. Beloved by countless students and athletes, Donald’s impact as a teacher, coach, and mentor is immeasurable. This scholarship honors his legacy by supporting the educational journey of a student who embodies his values of perseverance, teamwork, and dedication. Carl Lovejoy worked at Croft Ford in Athens, PA as a body repair technician, and Charlotte was employed by Ingersoll Rand. Albert through his estate established this scholarship to honor his wife’s family. Earl C. Cooper, Doris’s uncle was the founder of Tioga General Hospital, and with his wife, Alice Cooper Walker, donated land for the hospital. NUCOR Foundation was established as a non-profit corporation for charitable and educational purposes including the awarding of scholarship grants to deserving men and women. It is the belief of the Foundation that the further economic and social progress of the nation is built upon the education of its citizens. Rotary Youth Leadership Conference 2025 - Attention Juniors! With Spring approaching, now is the time to look for Summer opportunities. The RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) Conference is a great place to start! The RYLA Conference is a forum that provides exceptional students moving from their Junior to Senior year with an opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions and beliefs with other students in a relaxed, retreat-style setting. Students will have the opportunity to meet other area students, stay on a college campus setting, learn leadership skills and build friendships. Area high school teachers act as guest speakers and have students participate in various workshops to build confidence and skills for students to use as they progress from high school to their post-graduation goals. *The conference this year runs from Sunday, June 29th, 2025 to Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 at the SUNY Oneonta Campus in Oneonta, NY. All fees for students are paid by the local Rotary Club. TC3 is doing away with an online course catalog, hopefully this format can take its place going forward. Classes will fill quickly and TC3 is beginning Summer class registration. Please see your Guidance Counselor to register for a course. Students should NOT sign up for an Online course on their own.
